In collaboration with The Doodle People, my team and I were tasked to recreate a core memory associated with food into an Augmented Reality Experience. My groupmates and I attained the top prize in this collaboration.
In collaboration with The Doodle People, my team and I were tasked to recreate a core memory associated with food into an Augmented Reality Experience. My groupmates and I attained the top prize in this collaboration.
My team and I chose to re-create an experience of making Ang Ku Kueh in the kitchen
with our grandmother.
I was responsible for the modeeling of the Ang Ku Kueh Mold, the postcard design & Steps 5 & 6 of the
interaction.
The expreince starts by scanning the postcard according to the instructions shown on the screen. The user would
then go
through the process of making Ang Ku Kueh with their "grandmother" which is acompanied by an instructional
voiceover.
The user would use motions like tapping and sliding during the process of making the Ang Ku Kueh.
Once the user has finished making the Ang Ku Kueh, they would be prompted to share a core memory of a food item
they themselves had.
My team and I attained the top prize for this project.
